Community Repair Day

2011 marks the 20th anniversary of this partnership between Home Repair Services and the Home & Building Association of Greater Grand Rapids.  In celebration of this milestone, we'll complete 20 projects, with teams beginning work during the summer and culminating in the official "blitz" on September 10, 2011.

Just as in the past, volunteers from participating HBA member companies will complete critical repairs for lower-income homeowners.  In addition to the customary emphasis on the construction of wheelchair ramps for homeowners living with mobility impairments, volunteers will also complete two electrical upgrades and build two fences.

Thanks to the members of the Home & Building Association of Greater Grand Rapids for their many years of support for this important effort!
