Making the Most of What you Have

Controlling air and moisture movement also improves the performance of your insulation.  When air moves through insulation it pushes out the heat that is trapped within the air pockets in the insulation. Think of how a fleece jacket may keep you warm on a cold day but may feel more like a filter than a barrier when the wind picks up.  And if the fleece happens to get wet your problem is compounded.  Similarly, controlling moisture and sealing air leaks in your home allow you to make the most of the insulation that you already have.
