• Continue its work to reduce the loss of homeownership in Kent County by providing critically important repairs and foreclosure intervention services.
• Affirm its commitment to help lower-income homeowners help themselves by equipping them to undertake and complete renovations and repairs that increase the value of their homes while making them attractive, comfortable places to live. 
• Be that resource that imparts knowledge to homeowners and helps do-it-yourselfers create lasting value in their homes. The end results of Home Repair Services programs are attractive, functional, energy efficient homes in stable neighborhoods about which people say "I'd want to live there!"

Our Resources:

The Home Repair Services facility will continue to be a place where people come often to find services, assistance and encouragement. Many new families, especially do-it-yourselfers, will be drawn to the resources at Home Repair Services.

Home Repair Services will grow volunteerism to the point where the need for skilled volunteers is met and where groups that want to volunteer will be accommodated. This accommodation will enable the organization to fill its limited need for skilled volunteers as well as respond to groups throughout the community who desire meaningful and productive volunteer experiences.

Our Values:

Home Repair Services will be well known as an organization that provides a helping hand rather than a handout. The goodwill generated by this identity will increase philanthropy by individuals and organizations whose ideology places importance in the virtue of self-determination and individual initiative. As a result, Home Repair Services will continue to increase the number of major donors and will be known as an organization that thrives despite the absence of government funding.

Our Influence:

Home Repair Services will help this community understand the importance of following sound building science principles to achieve energy affordability, and it will do its weatherization work in partnership with other organizations.

The consequence of these commitments, actions and successes will be homeowners who have increasing equity in their homes, homes that command higher resale value and remain owner-occupied after they are sold.
